How Can Separation & Divorce Therapy Help?
Therapy can be a powerful support during a separation or divorce. Research shows it can ease feelings of anxiety, depression, and stress—helping you feel more emotionally grounded and better equipped to cope with the changes you're facing.
Divorce counseling can also improve communication skills, which is especially important if you’re co-parenting or trying to reduce conflict. In fact, a study by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy found that over 75% of people who go to therapy report positive changes in their relationships and overall outlook.
While separation and divorce are undeniably hard, they can also be a time of growth and transformation. I’m here to support you through it.

questions you may have
-
Separation and divorce counseling offers support for individuals or couples navigating the emotional and practical challenges of ending a relationship. Whether you’re unsure about separating, in the middle of the process, or adjusting to life afterward, counseling can help you gain clarity, manage emotions, and move forward with greater stability and care.
-
Absolutely. Counseling can support you in creating a respectful and collaborative separation process. It can also help improve communication, reduce conflict, and lay the foundation for healthy co-parenting (if you have children). The goal is to help both partners move through the transition with greater ease and emotional well-being.
-
That’s totally okay. Individual counseling during separation or divorce can be incredibly valuable. It offers a space to process your emotions, gain understanding of why the breakup happened, and get to know yourself much better.
